MD CERAMIC PASTE
Properties and areas of application
MD Ceramic Paste is an innovative lubricant based on a high-molecular oil, inorganic binders and ceramic additives. It can be used in a temperature range from -20 °C to approximately +150 °C, while the solid lubricant it contains can even withstand temperatures above +1500 °C. This paste is free of metallic pigments, graphite, molybdenum sulphide and sulphur-containing additives, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
As a high-pressure and high-temperature lubricant, ceramic paste is mainly used in mechanical engineering. It is ideal for gears, slideways, guide rails and joints, especially for slow sliding movements. The use of ceramic paste ensures quick and easy assembly and disassembly of components, such as threaded connections. It helps to apply the correct torque by eliminating the potential influence of thread irregularities.
Areas of application:
MD Ceramic Paste is ideal for lubricating and preventing seizing on machine elements subject to high temperatures, such as screws, slide bushings, guides, spindles, springs and wedges. It facilitates disassembly and acts as an effective release agent for hot screw connections, such as hot steam screws on turbines, exhaust pipes, gears, valves, chains, slideways and shafts. These applications are particularly important in the petrochemical industry, power plants, rolling mills and similar industries. In addition, the ceramic paste is also used as a release agent in metal casting, die casting, forging and extrusion, where very high temperatures are reached.
