Temperature resistance up to + 200 °C
MD SIL is a high-quality, one-component sealant that cures at room temperature to form a silicone rubber. It remains elastic and offers high adhesion, enabling it to withstand dynamic loads such as shocks and vibrations. MD SIL replaces conventional solid seals and can be used universally. It is characterised by a very high temperature resistance from -60°C to +260°C, in the red version even up to +300°C.

UNIVERSAL SEALANT
MD LIQUID BLOCK is a versatile universal sealant that can be used in numerous areas, including roofs, walls and wet rooms. In the automotive sector, it serves as a supplement to underbody protection and as a paintable seam sealant. It provides waterproofing for skylights, skylight domes, roof eaves, pipe joints, wall and chimney connections and external ventilation.
In addition, MD LIQUID BLOCK is ideal for waterproofing balconies and terraces under tiles and coverings as well as for moisture control in cracks and fractures in masonry. It adheres to various substrates such as Styrofoam®, plastics, concrete, wood, stone, metal and sanded roofing felt.
MD LIQUID BLOCK provides crack bridging of at least 10 mm, is UV-resistant and insensitive to spray and rainwater, even during curing.
