MD surface sealant
The surface sealant is also suitable for extreme conditions, such as those found in gearbox and engine housings, flange connections, bearing covers and differential housing covers. It is a high-quality, single-component sealant that cures in the absence of air on contact with metal.
MD surface sealant is resistant to water, mineral oils, synthetic lubricants, fuels, organic solvents and coolants.

Areas of application: The surface seal is used in the automotive industry, the chemical and petrochemical industry, in gas, water and electricity plants as well as on oil rigs and many other areas.
Application instructions: Clean the surfaces to be joined with MARSTON-CLEANER. Apply sufficient sealant and assemble the parts. Immediate assembly is not necessary as the material only reacts after the parts have been joined.
Anaerobic liquid plastics do not react with metal/plastic combinations. In such cases, an activator must be used.
Various types with different strengths and viscosities allow precise customisation to your application and are crucial for the success of the seal.
Hand strength is achieved after about 5 to 10 minutes, final strength after 12 hours. Curing can be considerably accelerated by using MD AKTIVATOR NR. 11.

Ideal for anaerobic liquid plastics
The MD ACTIVATOR NO. 11 from MARSTON-DOMSEL accelerates the curing of anaerobic liquid plastics, especially at low temperatures. It is ideal for use on passive metals, inactive surfaces and larger adhesive gaps.

Application:
Apply the anaerobic product to one of the surfaces to be bonded.
Spray the activator onto the other surface.
Join the parts together.
Repeated treatment may be necessary for dirty surfaces.
A second activation may be necessary for porous surfaces.
Allow the solvent to evaporate.
Bond the parts no later than 7 days after activation.
