Item description:

In a single step, MD Rust Transformer removes and completely transforms existing rust to form an impermeable PU acrylic protective layer that prevents re-oxidation on the treated metal surfaces.

MD Rust Transformer’s unbeatable action:

Step 1: Active pigments and oxygen binders transform the rust. The metal surface turns black, showing that the rust (iron oxide) has been transformed. MD Rust Transformer penetrates deeply into the metallic surface. This reaction can take 5-14 days depending on layers applied and temperature.

Step 2: In parallel with the rust conversion, a cold- and heat-stable PU acrylic protective layer (-30 to 180°C) coats the transformed metal surface and forms a fully hardened surface with residual flexibility after approx. 14–24 hours depending on the ambient temperature. Temperature-resistant up to 180°C. The result is a durable protective layer with a water-insoluble acrylic resin which protects even damaged areas, preventing further oxidation.
