MD PRIMER NO. 7

PP, PE, silicone and Teflon® cannot be permanently bonded without pre-treatment. If only adhesive without primer is used, only adhesion is achieved, not true bonding. The primer enables difficult-to-bond materials such as polyolefins (polyethylene, polypropylene), PTFE, silicones and other challenging materials to be reliably bonded.

Application:
Apply a thin layer of primer to the surfaces to be bonded and allow to air dry for a few seconds. Then apply the adhesive and press the parts firmly together. Handling strength is achieved after 1-2 minutes. Full final strength is guaranteed after 24 hours.
