MD MULTI-TAPE

MD MULTI-TAPE is a self-welding, airtight tape made of polyisobutylene (PIB) and rubber. It welds immediately under tension to form a homogeneous insulation without the need for temperature or pressure.

The tape is non-adhesive, which makes it easy to handle and process. After cutting, MD MULTI-TAPE can be removed cleanly. It is ideal for insulating and impregnating electrical components and for protecting metal pipes against corrosion. It is also characterised by its excellent resistance to water and ozone.

Areas of application:

Connections, splices and repairs on a wide range of three-phase and distribution cables up to 46 kV
Insulation and impregnation of electrical components
Corrosion protection coating, for example for metal pipes

With MD MULTI-TAPE, even high-voltage three-phase cables up to 46 kV can be reliably insulated, ensuring safe and durable use.
