MD MEGABOND 2030 – The high-performance adhesive for the highest demands

The 2-component high-performance adhesive MD MEGABOND is the ‘formula one’ among adhesives. It is used where conventional adhesives do not achieve the required strength.

MD MEGABOND provides a permanent bond between metal, wood, ceramics and hard plastics. Different materials are bonded quickly and reliably. Once fully cured, the bonded area can be easily machined and painted.

• Minimal surface preparation requirements
• Temperature resistant up to +120°C, short-term up to +140°C

• Body and exterior: bumpers, spoilers, radiators, exterior mirrors, body parts, windscreens and door windows
• GRP parts, door panels, rear and front lighting
• Reinforcement and installation of floor panels, roof elements and grill parts
• Front and rear end caps, holders for advertising and bumpers
• Plastic hubcaps and bumper brackets

Processing:

The parts to be bonded should be clean and free of oil and grease. Roughening the surfaces increases the strength of the bond. Mix the material until a uniform colour is achieved. Apply MD MEGABOND and join the parts together. Hand strength is achieved after 60 minutes, complete curing takes place after 12 hours. Close the cartridge with the cap after use. Please do not use MD MEGABOND at outside temperatures below +5 °C.
