MD CA-STAR 2K - High-performance cyanoacrylate-based adhesive

The MD CA-STAR 2K adhesive is characterized by its outstanding adhesive properties and is suitable for a wide range of materials. It offers excellent adhesion to metal and numerous plastics, including PVC, ABS, PC and PBT. Rubber and porous, absorbent materials such as wood, paper, cardboard, leather and textiles can also be bonded with ease.

For processing on polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), we recommend the use of a primer to achieve optimum results.

Technical details:

Mixing ratio: 4 parts adhesive to 1 part hardener
Processing time: Approx. 3 minutes (depending on the temperature)
Temperature resistance: The adhesive can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +80°C and can even be used up to +120°C for short periods.
Processing temperature: The adhesive can be processed from -25°C.

Special properties:

Thixotropic: The adhesive is drip-free and enables precise application, even on vertical surfaces or overhead.
Extremely impact-resistant: The high impact resistance ensures a durable and reliable bond.
Mechanically workable: After curing, the adhesive can be worked mechanically, which offers additional flexibility in application.
Good media resistance: The adhesive is resistant to various media and thus ensures a long-lasting bond.
Low efflorescence: MD CA-STAR 2K is formulated to minimize efflorescence, which does not affect the aesthetics of the bonded materials.
